RCAST does more than just conduct research. The provision of education is another of its key functions. Students enrolled in the doctoral programs of the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies, which is operated by RCAST, can receive a graduate school education while simultaneously conducting research at specialist research units (ancillary labs). At the briefing, professors Satoru Takahashi and Hiroshi Ishikita, who work on the frontline of research and education, will describe the characteristics and attractions of the graduate school, in which numerous working professionals from corporations etc. are enrolled.
Anyone is welcome to attend. Those planning to seek admission this year will obviously benefit, but so will those who are considering admission as an option for the future and want to learn more, as will those who have been surprised to discover that such a graduate school exists.
