Briefing session for the Department of the Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies
The first briefing session has concluded.We extend our gratitude to all who took the time to attend the session.
The second briefing session will be held in September.
The Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies holds briefing sessions twice a year for those who wish to enroll or are considering admission.
The first briefing session will take place on May 14th.

In the Department of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies at the Graduate School of Engineering (GSE), The University of Tokyo, students can choose from a wide range of research fields that encompass both science and liberal arts. These fields are based on the Core Courses of GSE and the six Research Fields of RCAST.
Many students in the Department of AIS also pursue their studies while working at their companies. During our briefing session, we will introduce our department and explain about the Schedule A entrance examination, which will take place in August 2025. We welcome those who wish to take the exam, seek information for their future careers, or have a keen interest in our department. Please feel free to join the session.
